CareCuts relies on the generosity of our amazing partners to serve the homeless through on-site services, referrals, donations, volunteers, meal preparation, and so much more.

Onestop Resource Fair
CareCuts collaborates with the Knox County Health Department on a quarterly basis to host over 20 partner agencies providing on-site services, referrals, giveaways and food for our homeless community. Please refer to our calendar for our next resource fair.
Medical Services
When a volunteer nurse is available, CareCuts offers essential medical support, including basic wound care, over-the-counter medications, and general health assistance. We’re also thankful for healthcare students from UT, LMU, South College, and others who volunteer their time. Through our partnership with Remote Area Medical (RAM), we’re able to provide expanded services – such as screenings, prescription medications, and more advanced care – on select days. Meal Donation
When a volunteer nurse is available, CareCuts offers essential medical sWe are incredibly grateful for the churches, community groups and individuals who help feed our homeless clients. Whether it’s boiling eggs for breakfast, preparing side dishes for outreach or providing full meals – your time and effort truly make a difference. But the need is growing and so is our need for support. To continue offering meals, we need more helping hands. If you, your church, your workplace or your community group can assist, please sign up using the Meal Train links below. Tuesday & Wednesday outreach days feed approximately 150 individuals and Sunday outreach provides for 300 people.
Identification Resources
Thanks to our partnership with Connect Ministries, we help clients get birth certificates and state IDs – necessary for jobs, housing and more. We are also teaming up with the TN Department of Safety & Homeland Security for on-site mobile ID services. Check our calendar for upcoming dates.


Agency Referrals
CareCuts connects individuals experiencing homelessness with the resources they need through trusted referrals to local community agencies. When our clients come to us and tell us their journey, we help in all the ways that we can, then educate them on the incredible outside agencies that are available to them. Thanks to our strong partnerships, we can guide our clients toward services such as:
- Housing opportunities
- Mental health and counseling services
- Drug rehabilitation services
- Veteran support programs
- Reentry programs
- Employment support
- Furniture ministries
- Bike voucher programs
- And so much more

Donated Goods
Our ability to provide shoes, clothing, backpacks, hygiene items and other goods relies solely on donations from individuals and our community partners. Organizations providing shoes, local companies hosting a coat drive and various churches making hygiene bags are just a few examples of how we partner with those in our community to provides items to the homeless of Knoxville. Please contact us if your church or business is interested in donating goods that would benefit those in need.
